Fake doctor, found to have cleared only Class 10, held for 'treating' patients in Telangana
A 40-year-old man, who posed as a doctor and was allegedly treating patients, was taken into custody in Jangaon district of Telangana on Monday, police said.
Upon receiving information, a team comprising police and health officials raided a clinic in Station Ghanpur mandal of the district and apprehended the man, they said adding it was revealed that he studied only till Class 10 and did not have any authorised medical certificate.

FIR against 5 Yatharth Hospital doctors over alleged negligence leading to death of COVID patient
Five doctors of a Noida-based private hospital have been booked under IPC Section 304A for negligence in the treatment of a COVID-19 patient who died over alleged delay in administering Remdesivir.
The First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against the doctors of Yatharth Hospital at the Phase 2 police station under Indian Penal Code section 304A (causing death by negligence) over a complaint by Gautam Buddh Nagar's deputy chief medical officer Dr Tikam Singh.

Medical services remain hit at PGIMS as deadlock between students, govt continues
Despite the 72-hours ultimatum given by the medical students in Haryana, the State Government has not changed its position regarding the MBBS bond policy. Therefore, taking the protest to the next level, the Resident Doctors Association of Post Graduate of Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak are now observing pen-down in OPD services at the institute.
Announcing their decision in this regard, RDA of the institute wrote to the director yesterday and stated, "An unanimous decision has been taken that all residents shall observe Pen-down in OPD as a mark of protest on 21/11/2022 from 10 am- 12 pm. This is in protest of the current situation prevailing in the institute where the students are yet to receive any concrete solution from the government directly."
