FORDA demands action against hospitals for not paying salaries to doctors
The Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) on Monday urged Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain to take note of punitive action taken against resident doctors of certain Delhi government hospitals who participated in the nationwide agitation for NEET-PG counselling.
In a letter to Jain, it requested him to take action against those hospitals that have marked the resident doctors as absent and deducted their salaries or stipends while the resident doctors were protesting against the delay in counselling earlier this year.

Doctor Booked For Running Hospital Without License
Three people, including a doctor, have been booked for running a hospital in a rented building in village Falijwas on Pachgaon-Taurau road here without requisite documents or license from the district health department, police said on Wednesday.
The arrested were identified as Dr Dharmender amd his aides Bittu Yadav, who used to run the hospital, and Sonu.

MBBS Admissions For Wards Of COVID Warriors: MCC Invites Applications From Eligible Candidates
Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) Directorate General of Health Services, has invited applications from interested and eligible Children of "COVID Warriors (Deceased)" through respective Directorate of Medical Education (DME)/ Directorate Health Services (DHS) of their domicile states.
It is for the information to all the candidates, who have appeared and qualified for NEET examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the academic year 2021, that Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have decided to allot 5(five) MBBS Seats to Children of COVID Warriors (Deceased) this year also as was done last year. Hence, the MCC has now invited the applications form the concerned candidates seeking MBBS admissions this academic year.

Novartis gets CDSCO panel okay for phase 3 trial of secukimunab
The pharmaceutical major, Novartis, has got a go-ahead from the Subject Expert Committee (SEC) of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) to conduct the Phase III clinical trial of an immunomodulating agent and interleukin antagonist, Secukimunab.
This approval came after the drug-maker Novartis presented the protocol to conduct the Phase 3 clinical trial of Secukimunab before the committee.
