NEET 2022 not postponed
Breaking the hearts of all the NEET UG 2022 aspirants, who have been demanding deferment of the exam, a recent Tweet by PIB Fact Check has alerted against a fake notice being circulated regarding the exam postponement.
Until now, the aspirants did not get any response from the authorities despite their repeated representation and continuous Tweets seeking deferment. However, PIB Fact Check on Tuesday asked the candidates not to believe the rumours regarding postponement of the exam.

Doctors protest against proposed move to pool J&K PG medical seats in All-India Quota
Doctors on Thursday staged a protest against the Jammu and Kashmir administration's proposed move to pool 50 per cent post-graduate seats from Government Medical College (GMC) and all seats of Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences for all-India quota this year.
Accompanied by medical students, the doctors staged a protest in front of the GMC office here in support of their demand for shelving the idea until more post-graduate seats are allotted to new medical colleges in the Union Territory.

AIIMS New Delhi again extends tenure of Director, Dr Randeep Guleria
With the ongoing search for a new director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, the term of the present Director Dr Randeep Guleria has been extended for another three months again, according to a recent office memorandum issued by the premier hospital.
Dr Guleria was appointed as the director for a term of five years on March 28, 2017.

Couples opting for surrogacy to buy 3-yr health insurance for surrogate mothers: Govt
According to the recently issued Surrogacy (Regulation) Rules, couples who intend to opt for the surrogacy route for becoming parents will have to purchase 3-year general health insurance for surrogate mothers.
The insurance amount should be sufficient enough to cover expenses for all complications arising out of the pregnancy and also postpartum delivery complications.
WHO considers declaring monkey pox a global health emergency
The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently convened its emergency committee to consider if the spiraling outbreak of monkeypox warrants being declared a global emergency.
Declaring monkeypox to be a global emergency would mean the U.N. health agency considers the outbreak to be an "extraordinary event" and that the disease is at risk of spreading across even more borders. It would also give monkeypox the same distinction as the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing effort to eradicate polio.
Glenmark Baddi facility gets 6 USFDA observations
Drugmaker, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd, has recently announced that the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has issued Form 483 with six observations after an inspection at the Company's formulation manufacturing facility based out of Baddi, India.
An FDA Form 483 is issued to firm management at the conclusion of an inspection when an investigator(s) has observed any conditions that in their judgment may constitute violations of the Food Drug and Cosmetic (FD&C) Act and related Acts.
