NEET PG 2026 Paper Leak Claims Surface on Telegram, Instagram; NBEMS Warns Candidates

Just a few days before the NEET PG 2026 examination scheduled for August 30, 2026, social media posts claiming to provide the leaked question paper to aspirants have surfaced. On this, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has clarified that such claims are fake and has warned candidates against falling for them.

In a recent post on social media platform X, NBEMS advised NEET PG aspirants to remain alert and not believe social media posts, advertisements or messages claiming to provide the “leaked” NEET PG 2026 question paper.

MCC Releases Revised NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Result, 2,946 Candidates Allotted Seats

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the Revised Provisional Result II for NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1, with 2,946 candidates allotted seats. The revised allotment list has been uploaded on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates who participated in Round 1 have been advised to check their allotment status carefully and report any discrepancy through the Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System. The deadline for submitting grievances regarding the revised allotment was August 24, 2026, at 12:30 pm. Candidates whose seat allotment has changed from an earlier result should rely on the latest provisional list while checking their current status.

MCC clarified that the revised list is provisional and should not be treated as the final Round 1 allotment result. Candidates allotted seats have also been advised not to report to their respective colleges at this stage. The final allotment result will be issued after the grievance process is completed. Candidates should wait for the final result before proceeding with college reporting, document verification or admission formalities and continue monitoring the official MCC website for further instructions, according to the TOI report.

NEET SS 2025: Doctors Urge J P Nadda to Hold Additional Counselling Round to Fill 1,700 Vacant Seats

Highlighting that around 1700 super-speciality seats are still lying vacant, doctors have urged the Union Health Minister Shri J P Nadda to conduct an additional round (Round 3) of the NEET SS 2025 counselling to ensure optimum utilisation of the unfilled seats.

Submitting a representation to the Union Health Minister, the doctors under the Indian Medical Association Junior Doctors Network (IMA-JDN) have argued that leaving these super-speciality seats vacant would result in the loss of valuable training opportunities for the current academic session. It would also result in a shortage of trained Super-Specialists in the country, they pointed out.
