RGSSH Resident Doctors launch indefinite strike against overdue salaries

Resident doctors at Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital (RGSSH) in New Delhi have been working for four months without receiving their salaries. As a result, the doctors initiated an indefinite strike on Monday due to the hospital's failure to pay their salaries.

The doctors have ceased providing elective services, including Outpatient Department (OPD) and Operation Theatre (OT) services. However, they are still attending to Inpatient Department (IPD) patients already admitted in wards, intensive care units (ICUs), and any medical or surgical emergencies.

Doctor discovers shocking cause of woman's strange ear sensation

A case report published in the New England Journal of Medicine details a rather unusual and unsettling situation involving a 64-year-old woman. She sought medical attention after experiencing persistent clicking and rustling in her left ear for four days. Upon examination, doctors were surprised to discover a small spider and its exoskeleton inside her ear canal, as documented in a video.
