AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2023 for 88 vacancies
AIIMS, Bhubaneswar has invited off-line applications for the post of Senior Residents (Non-Academic) under Govt. of India, Residency Scheme, 1992 for a Tenure Period of 03 years. The candidates who have already completed the degree are eligible to apply for the post. Those who completes 3 years of Senior Residency under Central Residency scheme are not eligible.
AIIMS, Bhubaneswar has been established as an Autonomous Institution and Institute of National Importance through the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2012. By virtue of this Act, the Institute grants its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions.

Rs 25 lakh compensation on KIMS Hospital & Doctors for not conducting proper investigations
The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) recently directed Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and its doctors to pay Rs 25 lakh compensation to the family of the patient, who died frontal hematoma with massive herniation of brain.
After perusing the medical records and medical literature, the Apex consumer court opined that the doctors at KIMS hospital treated the patient only symptomatically and failed to do proper clinical assessment and crucial investigations to find out Subarachnoid Hemorrhage.

NBE nod to Ranchi Sadar Hospital for four DNB seats in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Bringing good news to the postgraduate medical aspirants in Jharkhand, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS, NBE) has given its permission to Ranchi Sadar Hospital for running Diplomate of National Board (DNB) course in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
After completing the inspection, NBEMS has given its permission for altogether four seats. Among these, two seats will remain reserved for post-MBBS students and the other two seats will be reserved for students of post-diploma level.
