CPS Diploma not recognized: HC notice to Medical Council
While considering a plea by a doctor whose application for registering a diploma degree from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai (CPS Mumbai) was cancelled, the Vacation bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has sought to know the response from the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council (MPMC) and the erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI), now National Medical Commission (NMC).
Therefore, the bench comprising of Justices MS Bhatti and PC Gupta has issued notices to the respondents including the Union and the state government, MCI and MPMC, reports TOI.

With around 1000 seats vacant, lowering of cutoff, stray vacancy round much needed for NEET SS 2021
With more than 1000 Super Specialty Seats vacant, lowering the cut-off for NEET SS 2021 and arranging for a stray vacancy round has become the need of the hour.
These vacant seats are not only from branches that are least sought after but hundreds of seats belonging to coveted branches such as DM Cardiology (DMCD) and DNBSS Cardiology (DCRD) and those in the super-specializations of Neurology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology even oncology that are also lying vacant.

111 dengue cases in a month in Delhi so far while 11 cases in a week
According to a recently released civic report, more than 110 dengue cases have been reported in the national capital till date. 11 new dengue cases were reported in Delhi last week but no death has been reported so far.
Dengue virus is transmitted by female mosquitoes mainly of the species Aedes aegypti and, to a lesser extent, Ae. albopictus. These mosquitoes are also vectors of chikungunya, yellow fever and Zika viruses.
86 seats up for grabs in final mop-up round of NBE FNB admissions 2021
Subsequent to its schedule, the National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the seat matrix for the Final (Mop-up) Round of the online Centralized Merit Based counselling for admission to FNB courses for the 2021 admission session.
According to the seat matrix, a total of 86 seats are available in 14 specialities to which only registered candidates who have not been allotted any seat during the First and Second rounds of the Counseling, will be eligible for the Final (Mop-up) Round of counselling.

MBBS Seats, BFUHS declares admission null and void
Controversy seems to be never ending for Pathankot based Chintpurni Medical College, which arranged for a college level counselling on May 28 and 29 for filling up the vacant MBBS seats.
Although the college had prayed before the Supreme Court for filling up 41 vacant MBBS seats, the top court rejected such a prayer on May 27. Following this, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has come forward and clarified that any admission made in the medical college after April 28, the last date set by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) would be considered as null and void.
