41-year-old cardiologist, who performed hundreds of surgeries, dies of heart attack
Renowned cardiologist from Gujarat's Jamnagar, Dr Gaurav Gandhi has unfortunately passed away due to a sudden heart attack early Tuesday morning. Dr Gandhi was 41 years old and performed over 16000 heart surgeries throughout his career.
Born in 1982, Dr Gandhi was a renowned heart surgeon known for performing hundreds of angiography procedure and surgeries. A 41-year-old well-known cardiologist in Gujarat's Jamnagar city, Dr Gaurav Gandhi, died after suffering a heart attack at his residence, his family members and a colleague said on Wednesday.

Fact Check: Beware of fake NExT exam alert that is viral on social media
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a clarification on the fake notification that has been going viral on Twitter claiming that the National Exit Test (NExT) will be held in the second half of 2023 and Part I of the examination will be conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
While medical students in India and medical graduates from abroad are waiting with bated breath for any clarification regarding the National Exit Test (NExT), which will serve as a common exit and licentiate exam in the country, a viral NMC notification had earlier today set Twitter on fire.

Woman with rare disorder leaves hosp after 5 mths
A 27-year-old was clinically diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), a rare condition in which a person's immune system attacks the peripheral nerves, in November last year. Both sides of her body got paralysed. She recently rolled out of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in a wheelchair, after staying on a ventilator for more than five months.
9-month-old treated in Nagpur for rare heart defect
A surgical team of New Era Mother and Child Care Hospital has performed the complex procedure on a 9-month-old baby boy diagnosed with a rare congenital heart condition called Supracardiac Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection (TAPVC). TAPVC is a complex congenital heart defect in which the pulmonary veins, responsible for carrying oxygen-rich blood from the lungs to the heart, are abnormally connected. The surgery was led by renowned paediatric cardiac surgeon Dr Sandeep Khanzode and cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Anand Sancheti.
