|
Overview
Helping Hands, an organization for Helping the North Eastern people residing in Delhi and working in the unorganized sector, and National Medical Forum organized a 15-day medical checkup for their health welfare at Sanjeevan Hospital, Ansari Road Daryaganj. The team of doctors, under the guidance of Dr. Prem Aggarwal leading cardiologist, organized this camp. More than 500 people registered for their complete medical checkups.
This is like Anemia, Diabetes, Tuberculosis, Cancer, Heart Disease, and over and undernutrition are being tested free of cost, and follow-up treatment is also advised to the participants.
The inauguration of the camp was done at Sanjeevan Hospital, Ansari Road, Daryaganj. Speaking at the inauguration Shri Robin Hibu, IPS, Special Commissioner Delhi Police, said that the northeast remains the most underdeveloped part of the country because of its geographical isolation. It's a special area for many people's lives as different tribes have different food habits, dressings, and even worship different gods. But they all are Indians. When they come to Delhi, there is felt discrimination. Helping Hands and Sanjeevan Hospital is bringing these people closer to the mainstream.
The camp shall continue till 15th September 2022 at Sanjeevan Hospital, Ansari Road Daryaganj.
