Overview
In an unfortunate incident, a final-year medical student of Meenakshi Medical College in Kanchipuram allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of her hostel building.
The 23-year-old student, also a trainee doctor at the institute was reportedly suffering from depression due to relationship issues with a fellow medical student. It is suspected that she may have taken the drastic step as her relationship was on the brink of ending.
