Govt doctors in MP threaten to resume strike over delay in implementation of DACP scheme
Overview
Pressing for Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP) scheme other demands, 10,000 government doctors across Madhya Pradesh have threatened to go on strike from 25th March if the government does not arrange a meeting to come up with viable solutions.
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that after talks with the state government failed regarding the doctors demand for Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP), over 10,000 government doctors across Madhya Pradesh went on an indefinite strike in February. The protest began at Bhopal's Gandhi Medical college. The government doctors across Madhya Pradesh went on a two-hour strike to protest what they called “bureaucratic interference in their work and promotions.”
