Students who had to flee Ukraine in the wake of the Russian invasion have written to the Karnataka government to absorb them in local colleges.
The government had, on Monday, said the students would be allowed to attend classes in medical colleges in Karnataka and won't be formally absorbed in the colleges yet. They are now waiting to hear from a committee formed by the state to look into the matter.
