NEET PG 2025: Comprehensive State-wise Counselling Status and Updates - Video
Overview
As per the recent report by the Indian Express, states like Kerala and Haryana have progressed in NEET PG 2025 counselling, with Kerala releasing its Round 1 revised merit list and Haryana keeping registration open till November 16. Rajasthan closed its registration on November 14, while Uttar Pradesh completed Round 1 registration and payment by November 13. Karnataka has released its provisional seat matrix, and Punjab has extended its choice-filling process. In contrast, Maharashtra’s counselling process remains stalled due to pending updates, and several states, including Assam, Bihar, and Arunachal Pradesh, are yet to provide counselling timelines.
This year’s NEET PG counselling continues to be managed centrally by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the All India Quota and central institutions, while state medical authorities conduct state quota admissions. Aspirants are urged to vigilantly track both MCC and respective state websites due to staggered timelines across states. The MCC has implemented measures to ensure timely counselling, mandating working on weekends and holidays and requiring seamless data sharing between states and MCC. Candidates should maintain all necessary documents, such as NEET scorecards and internship certificates, ready for timely participation to avoid disruptions in admissions.
