NEET PG Counselling: Why Candidates Should Check Fees and Bond Obligations Before Admission - Video
Overview
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) began NEET PG 2026 Round 1 registration on October 12, with candidates allowed to register until October 21. In its information bulletin, MCC has advised aspirants to verify tuition fees, stipend structures, course duration, service bonds and other admission conditions directly with participating medical colleges before filling their choices. The advisory is particularly relevant for deemed universities, where fees can vary significantly. MCC has clarified that it is not responsible for fee information provided by individual institutions.
Choice filling runs from October 13 to 22, with choice locking available from 4 pm on October 21 until 10 am on October 22. Once locked, choices cannot be modified. Candidates must also verify their eligibility and registration details, as MCC will not entertain requests to change submitted information. Submitting multiple registration forms may lead to cancellation of candidature and exclusion from counselling. The Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled for October 24, followed by reporting from October 26 to November 2. Candidates should check the official MCC website for updates, according to an Edex Live report.
