The Medical Counselling Committee has issued an urgent notice revising the seat matrix for Round 2 of NEET SS Counselling 2025, adding new super-speciality seats across multiple institutes while withdrawing certain seats from a Telangana hospital. According to the revised matrix, new seats have been added in Surgical Oncology at Guru Hospital, Paediatric Surgery at Government Medical College Kota, Urology at Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, and three super-speciality courses at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, including Surgical Gastroenterology, Clinical Haematology, and Nephrology, according to Shiksha.

Meanwhile, two DNBSS Neonatology seats at Fernandez Hospital have been withdrawn from the counselling process. The revised seat matrix is expected to influence choice filling and seat allocation in Round 2, particularly for candidates seeking high-demand super-speciality courses.
