NEET UG 2026 Paper Leak: Mid-Interrogation Phone Call Uncovers Alleged Multi-State Network - Video
Overview
The interrogation of NEET-UG 2026 paper leak accused Amit Meena has reportedly become a major breakthrough in the ongoing investigation, with the CBI uncovering what officials describe as a vast multi-state network involving MBBS students, middlemen, coaching operators and alleged paper suppliers spread across Rajasthan, Haryana, Maharashtra and Kerala. Investigators claim Meena admitted to purchasing the leaked paper for Rs 5 lakh before reselling it further.
According to the Special Operations Group (SOG) case diary, a crucial lead emerged when Meena allegedly received a phone call during interrogation from a man identified as “Rishi”, who reportedly questioned pending payments and hinted at future leak operations in 2027. Officials claim the disclosures led investigators to several accused across states, including MBBS students and coaching-linked persons, reports to News 18.
The probe has also revealed an alleged Kerala connection, where the leaked paper was reportedly circulated through a student and later identified by girls staying at a PG accommodation in Rajasthan after matching it with the actual exam paper. Investigators are now tracing WhatsApp chats, Telegram groups and financial transactions linked to the alleged racket.
