NMC renews permission for 100 MBBS seats at MGM medical college Indore - Video
Overview
Indore based Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College (MGMMC) has received the nod from the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the 100 MBBS seats that were increased at the Institute taking the total intake capacity from 150 to 250 MBBS seats.
The renewal of permission from the Apex medical education regulatory body comes in respect of the third batch of MBBS students against the increased intake capacity, adds FPJ.
Formerly known as King Edward Medical School, MGM Medical College, Indore is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. The college has been offering MBBS courses since 1948 and consequently PG medical courses were introduced in the medical college back in 1953. Currently, the medical college offers undergraduate medical education in around 250 MBBS seats and there are a total number of 240 PG medical seats available at the institute.
