Ivy Prasad, a second-year medical student from RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata, was found dead at her home in the ESI Hospital Quarters in Kamarhati, North 24 Parganas. Her mother, a doctor at the local ESI hospital, discovered her body after multiple attempts to reach her went unanswered.
