Telangana HC Rejects FMGE Qualifying Marks Relaxation, Upholds Existing Regulations - Video

Observing that courts cannot change statutory regulations governing professional licensing examinations, the Telangana High Court has refused to grant relaxation in the qualifying marks for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE).

Single Bench Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka dismissed a writ petition filed by an SC candidate who secured 141 out of 300 marks in the FMGE. She had requested the court to relax the minimum qualifying marks from 150, arguing that relaxations granted in NEET-PG should also be extended to FMGE candidates.
