Y-chromosome and its impact on digestive diseases

Premature death of autistic people in the UK scientists report for the first time
A new study led by UCL researchers confirms that autistic people experience a reduced life expectancy, however the number of years of life lost may not be as high as previously claimed.
The research, published in The Lancet Regional Health – Europe, is the first to estimate the life expectancy and years of life lost by autistic people living in the UK.

Smaller hippocampus linked to cognitive decline
A new study shows that shrinkage in the hippocampus area of the brain is associated with cognitive decline, even in people who don't have amyloid plaques in the brain. The hippocampus plays a role in memory. In the online issue of Neurology, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology.
