Study finds “robotic pill” can safely deliver injectable osteoporosis drug
A proven and effective medication for osteoporosis, which is currently only available as an injection, can be administered orally using a novel “robotic pill,” finds a new study presented Saturday at ENDO 2023, the Endocrine Society’s annual meeting in Chicago, Ill.

Loneliness is not just bad for men's mental health, it may be bad for their bones, too, according to a new study. And while social isolation may have a negative impact on the bone health of men, this is not true of women, the researchers found. The study was presented on Sunday at ENDO 2023, the Endocrine Society's annual meeting, in Chicago, Illinois.

Heavy drinkers are known to tolerate a certain amount of alcohol better than light or moderate drinkers, the concept of “holding your liquor” is more nuanced than commonly believed, according to new research from the University of Chicago.
