Overview
Indian Medical Association (IMA) is the largest represented organisation of doctors of modern system of medicine in India which looks after the interests of doctors as well as the wellbeing of the community at large. It has a membership of 3.5 lakh doctors spread over in 28 State Branches, 5 Union territorial Branches and 1702 local branches in almost all the districts of India.
Speaking to Medical Dialogues, Dr. Sharad Aggarwal, the President of IMA, talks about his future plans, goals, and long-term vision of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) that will be beneficial for the medical fraternity.

Dr. Nandita Mohan is a practicing pediatric dentist with more than 5 years of clinical work experience. Along with this, she is equally interested in keeping herself up to date about the latest developments in the field of medicine and dentistry which is the driving force for her to be in association with Medical Dialogues. She also has her name attached with many publications; both national and international. She has pursued her BDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and later went to enter her dream specialty (MDS) in the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from Pt. Dr Sharad Aggarwal, the newly elected President of IMA is an MBBS MD holder in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. He's an MHA holder by qualification. A great mind and visionary with leadership qualities upto 20 years is now currently acting as executive director and CEO of JR group of hospitals,board member of NABH consultant.
