|
Overview
An artificial womb is a device that would allow for extracorporeal pregnancy by growing a fetus outside the body of an organism that would normally carry the fetus to term.
"The world's first artificial womb facility, EctoLife, will be able to grow 30,000 babies a year. It's based on over 50 years of groundbreaking scientific research conducted by researchers worldwide," Hashem Al-Ghaili, a Berlin-based biotechnologist, and science stated in a description of a video on YouTube.
