World Cancer Day unites people, communities, and entire countries to raise awareness and take action against cancer. This year's theme, "Close the Care Gap," marks the beginning of a three-year campaign focused on ensuring equitable access to quality cancer care for all.

Cancer, characterized by the uncontrolled multiplication of cells, poses a significant threat to health worldwide. Its impact spans across various parts of the body, and when left untreated, it becomes a deadly menace. With numerous types of cancer, each presenting distinct causes, symptoms, and treatment options, understanding and managing this disease is crucial for patients and healthcare professionals alike.

Hosted by Dr. Nandita Mohan, this video features esteemed panelists including Dr. Nitin Gupta, Senior Consultant at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute in Delhi, and Dr. Peush Bajpai, HOD & Consultant Medical Hemato Oncologist at Manipal Hospital, Dwarka.

Dr. Nandita Mohan

Dr. Nandita Mohan is a practicing pediatric dentist with more than 5 years of clinical work experience. Along with this, she is equally interested in keeping herself up to date about the latest developments in the field of medicine and dentistry which is the driving force for her to be in association with Medical Dialogues. She also has her name attached with many publications; both national and international. She has pursued her BDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and later went to enter her dream specialty (MDS) in the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from Pt. Dr Nitin Gupta

Dr. Nitin Gupta, an experienced Gastroenterology consultant, earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College and pursued specialized training in Gastroenterology at GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi. With over 11 years of expertise, he now holds the position of Senior Consultant at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi.

Dr Peush Bajpai

Dr. Peush Bajpai is a highly qualified oncologist with extensive training and expertise in medical oncology. He holds an MBBS, MD in General Medicine, and DM in Medical Oncology from the renowned Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai. Dr. Bajpai is recognized by the European Society of Oncology (ESMO) and serves as the Head of Department and Consultant in Medical Oncology at Manipal Hospital.
