Join us for a special video in honor of World Cancer Day on February 4th. World Cancer Day is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.
World Cancer Day unites people, communities, and entire countries to raise awareness and take action against cancer. This year's theme, "Close the Care Gap," marks the beginning of a three-year campaign focused on ensuring equitable access to quality cancer care for all.
Cancer, characterized by the uncontrolled multiplication of cells, poses a significant threat to health worldwide. Its impact spans across various parts of the body, and when left untreated, it becomes a deadly menace. With numerous types of cancer, each presenting distinct causes, symptoms, and treatment options, understanding and managing this disease is crucial for patients and healthcare professionals alike.
Hosted by Dr. Nandita Mohan, this video features esteemed panelists including Dr. Nitin Gupta, Senior Consultant at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute in Delhi, and Dr. Peush Bajpai, HOD & Consultant Medical Hemato Oncologist at Manipal Hospital, Dwarka.
