New born care week special - Dr Sabina Vij

Overview
A newborn infant, or neonate, is a child under 28 days of age. During these first 28 days of life, the child is at the highest risk of dying and thus requires immense care. That's why Newborn Care Week is celebrated every year in India between the 15 and 21st November. Throughout the week, efforts are made to educate parents on how to look after their infants.
According to the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, the theme of 2022 is "Home care of New-born in Urban Areas"
