Overview

Medical Dialogues team interacts with Dr. Shubham Narnoli, MD Psychiatry from AIIMS Delhi. Dr Shubham has extensively trained in Neuromodulation facility at AIIMS. He is currently the Medical Director for India Operations at Mindful TMS Neurocare. He is passionate for Understanding the neural processes and modulating them in order to improve a person's quality of life.
In this video Dr Shubham talks about the most recent breakthroughs in the treatment of major psychiatric disorders like depression and schizophrenia, precision medicine, including pharmacogenomics, impacted psychiatric treatment protocols. He further lays stress on neurostimulation therapies, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) throwing light on new medications and drug classes that have shown promise in clinical trials for treating mental health conditions.
Dr Narnoli emphasizes on the role of AI in mental healthcare, transforming patient care and outcomes, also discusses the advancements in psychedelic-assisted therapy and its potential therapeutic benefits.
Lastly, he speaks on the integration of behavioral therapy and pharmacotherapy evolving with current research findings.

Dr. Nandita Mohan is a practicing pediatric dentist with more than 5 years of clinical work experience. Along with this, she is equally interested in keeping herself up to date about the latest developments in the field of medicine and dentistry which is the driving force for her to be in association with Medical Dialogues. She also has her name attached with many publications; both national and international. She has pursued her BDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and later went to enter her dream specialty (MDS) in the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from Pt. Dr Shubham Narnoli (MBBS, MD Psychiatry) is the Medical Director – India Operations at Mindful TMS Neurocare with over eight years of experience in psychiatry. He completed his MBBS from KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and MD in Psychiatry from AIIMS, Delhi, where he received extensive training in neuromodulation techniques. His expertise includes treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, dementia, ADHD, peripartum and perimenstrual mental health issues, sexual disorders, and substance dependence. His work focuses on understanding and modulating neural processes to improve mental health outcomes, with an emphasis on evidence-based neuromodulation therapies for various neuropsychiatric disorders.
