Overview
Venous diseases refer to a group of medical conditions that affect the veins in the body, most commonly in the legs. It can cause pain, swelling, and aching in the legs, as well as skin changes and ulcers in severe cases.
The diagnosis of chronic venous disease (CVD) is usually made based on a combination of patient history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests. Once a diagnosis of CVD is made, the prognosis can vary depending on the severity of the disease and the individual's response to treatment.
Phleboscore is a screening tool used to assess the risk of chronic venous disease (CVD) in individuals. It is based on a combination of clinical and ultrasound findings. The prognosis for CVD can be improved with appropriate management, including lifestyle changes and medical treatment.
