NMC Mandates Medical Colleges to Submit MBBS 2025-26 Admission Data - Video
Overview
In an attempt to ensure that all MBBS admissions have been made while adhering to the rules and regulations, the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) recently directed all the medical colleges/institutes to submit the details of the students who got admitted in the MBBS course during the academic year 2025-26.
Writing to the Principals of the medical colleges in the country, the NMC board referred to the Online monitoring system that has been launched for this purpose. "In order to effectively monitor that all MBBS admissions made are in conformity with the requirement of Regulations, an online monitoring system has been launched by the Commission. This initiative is made with the objective of ensuring faithful adherence to the norms of admission laid down in Regulations as also to further promote transparency and accountability in the medical education," the notice read.
