Med Harbour to add 13 clinics, 100-bed hospital by 2019
New Delhi : Healthcare services provider Med Harbour plans to add 13 day care centres and a multi-specialty hospital besides expanding its reach online by the end of 2019 at an investment of Rs 45 crore.
"We are planning to open 13 more clinics and a multi-specialty 100-bed hospital with super specialisation in orthopaedics and pain management by the end of 2019," Med Harbour founder and Director Nishant Gupta told .
The investment on these and on strengthening the online platform that provides for online video consultation and booking appointments will be Rs 45 crore, he added.
The company is looking to tap the increasing demand for online and offline services in the healthcare space. Currently, the company is also providing online video consultation with 450 doctors, Gupta said.
When asked how the company is planning to raise funds for the expansion, he said: "It would be mainly through private equity and internal accruals. We are also open to venture capital funding."
Later, the company will also opt for franchise model but even there the clinics will be managed by the company, he added.
"In the first phase, we will be opening five clinics by end of 2017," Gupta said.
Med Harbour provides multi-specialty OPD services, pain management, orthopaedic services, spine care, physiotherapy and blood tests in its clinics.
