Medical apathy- Woman forced to deliver baby on road
Udaipur: In a case of medical apathy, a woman had to deliver baby on road in Rajasthan’s Udaipur. Family alleged that ambulance did not reach on time and they had to take the pregnant woman on a motorbike, as a result, she delivered baby on the road. Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Udaipur Sanjiv Tak said, “They couldn’t call ambulance on time due to network issue.
She was in labour and delivered on the road. Condition of mother and new-born is stable”.

  2. How is this medical apathy??? JUst for sake of sensationalising issues, you can\’t put up everything you want. If ambulance does not reach on time, still it is a medical apathy. You must ask the government why the roads are still in such a miserable state and why have they not found a solution to the traffic scenario instead of making a particular profession as a scapegoat for everything that goes wrong.
