NBE, ANBAI to confer Eminent Medical Teachers Award, Invite Applications
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) and Association of National Board Accredited Institutions have joined hands to confers national awards to honour the contributions made by eminent medical teachers /professionals and institutions / hospitals to further the cause of medical education quality and excellence in the country. For the same, the two institutions have invited applications.
Last year the Award Ceremony was organised by Association of National Board Accredited Institutions (ANBAI).
This year ANBAI & NBE have joined hands and will be organising the award ceremony together. The awards will be announced and distributed at the Teachers Day awards ceremony to be held at Bangalore o. Speaking to Medical Dialogues team, Dr Alexander Thomas, President ANBAI said, " This year NBE and ANBAI are joining hands to celebrate teachers day. An eminent jury will select outstanding teachers from all over the Country who will be awarded in different categories. This function is scheduled to be held in Bangalore on 22ned September."
Nominations are invited for the same. Inserted candidates can send nominations to email Id – anbaiindia@gmail.com & bbharat@nbe.edu.in in the following categories for “National Award in Teaching and Clinical Excellence” by filling the relevant nomination forms latest by 15th July, 2018:
- Emeritus Teacher Award
- Eminent NBE Alumnus Award
- Distinguished DNB Teacher(s) of Excellence Awards
- Excellence in Teaching for DNB Programme- NBE Accredited Hospital
- Scroll of Honour-NBE Accredited Hospital
The selection criteria for each category and the nomination forms are available on www.anbai.org & www.natboard.edu.in
A jury of distinguished experts will go through all nominations and select the winner.

ANBAI DNB Alumni Forum
ANBAI, the largest network of DNB institutions across the country, has also invited DNB pass outs to join its Alumni Association.In the past, ANBAI has been instrumental in getting major policy changes for the benefit of DNB candidates, including the equivalence of DNB with MD/MS/DM/Mch degrees with certain criteria in 2012.
