AFMS Issues Notices for Sponsored Medical Officers, Priority III, IV, V Candidates seeking PG medical admissions 2024
New Delhi- Recently, Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has released important notices for Sponsored Medical Officers and Priority- III, IV & V candidates regarding Postgraduate (PG) Admissions i.e for MD, MS and DNB in AFMS Institutes for the academic session 2024-27.
Through the notice, AFMS has informed that counselling will be conducted for around 175 seats in various specialities for Priority-III, IV and V candidates for PG admissions i.e. MD, MS and DNB in ​​AFMS Institutes for the academic session 2024-27 which will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
These 175 seats will be made available in the 2nd round of MCC counselling 2024 after counselling of Priority-I & II candidates in the first round.
Further, Priority IV candidates who have sent the required documents for consideration of PG Admissions-2024 in AFMS Institutes are informed to obtain the fresh admit cards for National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) which is released by the National Board of Medical Examination (NBE) by 05:00 PM on 31st August 2024 by e-mail to Director General under the subject 'Admit card in R/O Priority IV candidates for the PG courses in AFMS institutions for the session 2024-27'.
Moreover, for the sponsored medical officers whose sponsorship certificates for PG courses (MD/MS/DNB) in AFMS institutes have been forwarded by their respective Ministry/Headquarters of Paramilitary Organizations/Headquarters of other Government of India Organizations, they are also hereby informed to send the NEET PG Admit Card which is issued by NBE to the Director General by e-mail by 05:00 PM on 31 August 2024 under the subject ‘Admit card in R/O Priority III candidates for the PG courses in AFMS institutions for the session 2024-27'.
The NBE has recently released the NEET PG 2024 admit card. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 11, 2024, in two shifts i.e. from 9 am to 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Earlier, this exam was scheduled to be held on 23rd June 2024.
