AIIMS Jodhpur Invites Online Applications For Post-Doctoral Fellowship Courses January 2024, details

AIIMS Jodhpur Invites Online Applications For Post-Doctoral Fellowship Courses January 2024, details

Jodhpur: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Jodhpur) has invited online applications for Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) courses beginning from January 2024.

The candidates can apply till 31st January 2024 (Wednesday) up to 05:00 PM. The link to the application form is enclosed in the notice below. The date of the Examination and Interview shall be intimated separately, the candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website of AIIMS Jodhpur for the latest updates.

Application fee -

1. For PwBD Candidate: NIL

2. General/EWS/ OBC category: ₹ 1,000/- + transaction charges as applicable.

3. SC/ST category: ₹ 800/- + transaction charges as applicable.

Payment should be made online only and the application fee once remitted shall not be refunded.

In-service candidates will have to apply through the proper channels and submit a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer along with their application forms. All eligible candidates seeking admission (Including service) will have to appear in the entrance examination and go through the process of selection as envisaged for all.

DNB in a subject from an Institute or Medical College recognized by MCI /NMC with experience according to NMC Guidelines.

In accordance with Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 reproduced as under -

4A. Determination of equivalence of the qualification of DNB (Broad Specialities) with MD/MS & DNB (Super-Specialities) with DM/MCh.

Those candidates who have undergone DNB training in an institution that now runs MCI-recognized postgraduate degree courses in a given subject, their DNB qualifications shall be considered at par with MCI recognized qualifications in that subject only.

Those candidates who have undergone DNB training in a multi-specialty teaching hospital with at least 500 beds, involved in various postgraduate/super-specialty teaching programs provided that one out of three DNB supervisors (teachers) qualify as a postgraduate teacher as per MCI norms in his/her previous appointment. One out of the remaining two should qualify as a postgraduate teacher as per MCI regulations with the following bed requirements for the teaching unit -

50% of beds should be teaching beds -

1. Postgraduate Broad Specialities 30 beds per unit

2. Postgraduate Super Specialities 20 beds per unit

Such qualification shall be considered at par with MCI recognized qualification.

Those candidates who have three years of teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/ Tutor / or work experience gained during DNB training in both Broad Specialities and Super-Specialities courses in other locations/institutions (100 or more bedded hospitals) shall work for one additional year as a senior resident in an MCI recognized/permitted institution for equivalence with MD/MS/DM/MCh.

Those candidates who have three years of teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/ Tutor / or work experience gained during DNB training or after possessing DNB qualification, in both Broad Specialities and Super- Specialities course from an institution not covered in sub-clauses (a) to (c) shall work for two additional years as Sr. Resident/Research Associate (CSIR) in an MCI recognized/permitted medical college/institution for equivalence with MD/MS/DM/MCh.

Upper age limit: no upper age limit.

The candidates must have completed the requisite qualification, degree, and tenure by 28.02.2024. The candidates who are likely to complete their requisite qualification, degree, and tenure after 28.02.2024 will not be eligible to appear in this examination.

Method of selection –

Eligible applicants will be notified to appear in an exam (MCQs-based) followed by an Interview. Shortlisting of candidates will be done in a ratio of 1:6 per vacancy, according to marks obtained in the exam.

The selection criteria -

1. 80% weightage – Examination (MCQs based)

2. 20% weightage – Interview

Documents to be produced in original at the time of interview -

The candidate should bring the following original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies at the time of the Interview with the application form -

1. Identity Proof (PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card etc.)

2. Address Proof (Ration Card, Passport, Driving License, Aadhar Card etc.)

3. Certificate showing Date of Birth. (10th Certificate/Birth Certificate).

4. Class 10th & 12th Marksheets & Certificates.

5. MBBS and MD/DNB*/MS/M.Ch Marksheets & Certificates.

6. FMGE Certificate conducted by NBE (For Foreign Graduate - MBBS).

7. Attempt Certificate.

8. Internship Completion Certificate.

9. Registration with the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.

10. Experience Certificate.

11. No Objection Certificate (In case of working in Govt. sector).

12. Publications.

13. Any other relevant documents.

Pay scale - ₹ 18,750 + 6,600 (Grade Pay) + NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance) plus other usual allowance or revised pay scale as per 7th CPC as applicable (Level – 11 of the Matrix (Pre-revised PB – 3, entry pay of the ₹ 67,700/- per month + NPA plus other usual allowance admissible under rules).
