AIIMS Patna Releases List Of MBBS Batch 2021, 2022, PG Students, Faculty Selected For Mentor-Mentee Program

Patna: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Patna) to conduct Mentor-Mentee Program for MBBS Batch 2021 and 2022. The list of students selected has been released along with PG Students and Faculty (mentor) details.

Three lists have been released. i.e. MBBS Boys 2022, MBBS 2021 Boys, and MBBS 2021 and 2022 Girls.

With the approval of the Competent Authority, Mentor-Mentee Program is being implemented from MBBS 2021 & MBBS 2022 batches at AIIMS Patna. One Faculty and one PG student have been associated with two MBBS students. The male students have been associated with male Faculty & PG students, and female students have been associated with female faculty & PG students.

Responsibilities of Mentors (Teacher) -

1. To interact with the mentee and like a guide to them.

2. To care for mentees at a personal level beyond academic hours.

3. To link mentees, their families, and the administration.

4. To guide their overall development, including academics.

5. Relationships should be maintained at the personal/family level, but the mentor can bring any matter to the administration if they think so.

6. A report of the meeting with a mentee can be sent to the dean's office as and when required.

Responsibilities of Mentees (Students) -

1. To meet the mentors at the earliest.

2. To give due respect and time to mentors.

3. To inform the guardian about their mentor.

4. Meet the mentor at least once a month.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna is strategically located to address regional healthcare services, research, and training imbalances. It was established under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) during the first phase following the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's visionary announcement in Independence Day Speech on 15th August 2003.
