DME Gujarat Begins Choice Filling Process For Round 2 PG Ayurveda, Homeopathy Courses

DME Gujarat Begins Choice Filling Process For Round 2 PG Ayurveda, Homeopathy Courses

Gujarat: The choice-filling process for round 2 MD/MS Ayurveda and MD Homeopathy has begun. The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has announced this through a written notice.

As per the notice, the candidates can apply till 13.2.2023, up to 4:00 pm. The choices will be displayed on 13.2.2023 at midnight. The seat allotment will be displayed on 14.2.2023 at noon. The fee can be paid online or at the designated branch of Axis Bank from 14.2.2023 noon till 17.2.2023 up to 3:30 pm. The candidates can report to the help centre from 14.2.2023 noon till 20.2.2023 up to 4:00 pm.

The candidates note that offline payment of fees at the designated branch of Axis Bank can be made during banking hours on working days only.

Online allotment of seats is done based on merit cum choice. So it is merit cum choice-based allotment. Choice can be based on the following criteria: Specific Branch, Specific Institute/Place, Government or SFI, and Choice based on fees. In the choice filling of round 2, choices available for candidates/allotment of seats will be carried out as per the closure of round 1. Suppose a candidate is unable to secure the allotted seat for whatsoever reasons. In that case, such a candidate will not be eligible for admission in the same subject in the same institute in the successive rounds of counselling.

The process to fill choices –

Available Choice: The candidates can see all available choices -

1. The choices can be filtered by branch, subject, institute type, seat type and institute.

2. an Unlimited number of choices can be added.

3. The candidates can move and delete their choices according to their preferences.

4. The choices can be arranged according to the serial number.

Fill choice: To start the choice-filling process -

1. The choices can be added from the left panel to the right side.

2. Blue: Govt. Institute / Brown: SFI institute

3. GQ: Government Quota

4. After saving and exiting the choices page, the candidates can review their choices.

5. Click on modify choices to modify choices.

6. After typing 14-digit PIN no., the choices can be locked.

Print-filled choice: After locking choices, the candidates can take a printout of their choice list –

1. The candidates must take printouts of their locked choices. The committee will only consider printouts of locked choices whenever any query arises.

The candidates must check annual and term fees and pay term fees at the time of admission. To modify them, they modify them; they can again un-lock choices after entering 14-digit PIN No. If they fail to lock choices, they will be automatically locked on the last day.

The process of participation –

1. The candidates (who have not been allotted any seat OR allotted seat but not confirmed OR confirmed their admission OR cancelled their admission during the previous round of admission) can participate in round 2, i.e., all the candidates who are included in the merit-list of ACPPGMEC can participate in round 2 of ACPPGMEC except the candidates, who have secured admission in 15% AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities/ (MD/ MS/ (Ayurveda) and MD (Homoeopathy)) seats of other state counselling.

2. It is not compulsory to cancel the round 1 admission to participate in round 2.

3. To participate in round 2, the candidates must log in to the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their user ID and Password to give online consent for participation.

4. The seats available for admissions in round 1, according to the student's merit, will not be available in the second round or any subsequent rounds. The candidates need to see the Last Rank of the Result of round 1 on the website: www.medadmgujarat.org.

5. The candidates can change/swap/add/delete their filled choices from round 1.

6. If the candidate's admission is upgraded to a new seat, they have to take a print of the allotment order of round 2 and report to the same help centre at which they reported in the previous round to get their new admission order. Their new allotment is cancelled if you don't report to the help centre within the stipulated time. Hence in this scenario, they do not have admission to any seat.

7. If the candidates, who have confirmed admission to round 1 and have given consent to participate in round 2, have been allotted any new different seat (upgradation of admission), the admission to round 1 will get automatically cancelled.

8. If the candidates, who have confirmed admission to round 1 and have given consent to participate in round 2, have not been allotted any new different seat, the admission to round 1 will be continued.

9. The candidates who have participated or not participated in round 2, the admission of round 1 can also be upgraded in the same college and same subject by change of category (i.e. ST / SC / SEBC / EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat), there is no need to report the help centre for confirmation of admission.

Instructions for admission confirmation –

1. In round 2, admission will be given on newly added seats (if any), non-reported.

2. Seats of round 1 & cancelled seats after round 1 and subsequent vacant seats due to allotment on above seats.

3. The list of candidates, who required reporting during round 2, will be uploaded on the website at the time of declaration of the result of round 2 of ACPPGMEC.

4. Candidate has to make a prior appointment for the document submission at the help centre. Candidates can select the date and time for document submission when printing the allotment letter.

5. Payment of tuition fees can be made by Online payment or by cash, or by Demand Draft in favour of "ACPUGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC (List of designated branches of Axis Bank is available on admission committee's website www.medadmgujarat.org) during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays).

The candidates whose allotments have not been upgraded -

1. The candidates, who have confirmed their admission to round 1 of ACPPGMEC by paying term fees and submitting all required original documents, and whose allotment has not been upgraded (no change in the admitted subject; and no change in admitted college) in the second round need not report to the help centre.

2. The candidate who has participated or not participated in round 1, the admission of round 1 can also be upgraded in the same college and same subject by change of category (i.e. ST / SC / SEBC / EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat), there is no need to report the help centre for confirmation of admission.

The candidates whose allotments have been upgraded -

1. The candidates whose allotments have been upgraded (change in admitted subject and/or change in admitted college) in round 2 must report to the help centre to confirm round 2.

2. Payment of difference in tuition fees, if any, can be done by Online payment or by cash or by Demand Draft in favour of "ACPUGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC (List of designated branches of Axis Bank is available on admission committee's website www.medadmgujarat.org) during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays). Fees will be adjusted according to the payment of tuition fees amount for admission to round 1. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.

3. To secure admission to round 2, the candidate must report to the same help centre as reported in the first round with the required documents. For confirmation of admission, take the admission order for the second round from the help centre.

The candidates, who have confirmed their admission to round 1 of ACPPGMEC by paying term fees and submitting all required original documents, and whose allotment has been upgraded in the second round have to submit the following documents as under -

1. Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC of 2nd Round

2. Original Admission Order of ACPPGMEC of 1st Round

3. Photocopy of Receipt of payment of tuition fees/token amount for 1st Round of ACPPGMEC

4. Original Receipt of Payment of Difference of Tuition Fee, if applicable

The candidates who have been allotted seats for the first time -

1. Payment of tuition fees can be made by Online payment or by cash, or by Demand Draft in favour of "ACPUGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC (List of designated branches of Axis Bank is available on admission committee's website www.medadmgujarat.org) during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays).

The candidate has to submit their original documents as under -

2. Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC

3. Tuition Fee Receipt showing the paid one term (6 months) fees for SFI Colleges / Rs. 20000 (annual fees) for Govt. Colleges at Axis Bank

4. All-year BAMS/BHMS mark sheets

5. 12 months internship completion certificate

6. Copy of AIA-PGET- 2022 Marksheet

7. Document showing the place of birth& Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)

8. Provisional / Permanent Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine OR Central Council of Indian medicine / Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Homoeopathy (Renewal Registration certificate if previous Registration is expired)

9. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

10. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha' 4' in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only as per Govt. norms issued after Dt: 01/04/2020

11. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only issued after Dt: 01/04/2020

12. Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign

13. Photo Copy of the Disability Certificate issued by a Competent Authority
