DME Gujarat begins extended 4th Online Stray Vacancy Round Choice Filling for BAMS, BHMS Courses, check details

Gujarat- The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has released the schedule and process for the extended 4th Online (Stray Vacancy) Round for BAMS & BHMS admissions.

As per the above announcement, the Admission Committee has started the extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round choice feeling. In this choice feeling: Those who have filled choice in the 4th STRI vacancy round but have not been allotted, and, Candidates who have qualified due to the reduced cut off of NEET UG 2024 and are included in the merit list can participate.

To participate in this round:

Due to NEET UG 2024 reduced cut off, candidates included in the merit list will have to fill the choice by giving “Online Consent” from their log in.

Candidates who have given their choice in the 4th Stray Vacancy round but have not been allotted, to participate in the extended 4th online (stray vacancy) round, login to the website www.medadmgujarat.org with the help of their User-ID and Password, again “Online Consent”. (Online Consent)” has to be given. Such candidates can change the filled choices and add new choices.

If any seats in BAMS/BHMS courses remain vacant in the fourth extended online (stray vacancy) round, another extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round will be conducted by the admission committee.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in BAMS/BHMS courses in the extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round and have not paid the prescribed tuition fee of the college and have not deposited the original certificates at the Help Center of the Admission Committee i.e. the admission has not been confirmed, their refundable security The deposit will be forfeited, and such candidates will be admitted to the BAMS/BHMS course for the second extended fourth term by the Admission Committee. will not be eligible to participate if the online (stray vacancy) round is held.

Candidates who are allotted seats for BAMS/BHMS courses in the Extended 4th Online (stray vacancy) round, and who have paid the prescribed college tuition fee and deposited the original certificates at the Help Center will get the admission order and get confirmation of admission. Such candidates will not be eligible to appear for BAMS/BHMS course if another extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round is conducted by the Admission Committee.

Only those candidates who are not allotted seats in the Extended Fourth Online (stray vacancy) round will be considered eligible to participate in the second Extended Fourth Online (stray vacancy) round for the remaining seats.

No new registration or filling of new choices will be allowed by the admission committee in the second extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round. Online allotment will be done accordingly taking into account the choices filled in the extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round of the candidate.

The Admission Committee has started the selection filling for the Extended Fourth Online (Stray Vacancy) Round as per the above advertisement. Candidates eligible for this choice filling are:

1. Candidates who filled in their choices in the Fourth Stray Vacancy Round but did not get an allotment.

2. Candidates who have become eligible due to the reduced cut off in NEET UG 2024 and have been included in the merit list.

To participate in this round:

Candidates who have become eligible due to the reduced cut off in NEET UG 2024 and have been included in the merit list must go to their login and fill in their choices.

Candidates who have filled their choice in the fourth Stray Vacancy round but have not been allotted any seat, will have to log in to the website with the help of their User-ID and Password to participate in the extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round and give a fresh “Online Consent”. These candidates will be able to change the filled choice and also add new choices.

If any seat for BAMS/BHMS courses remains vacant after the Fourth Extended Online (Stray Vacancy) Round, the Admission Committee will conduct a second Extended Fourth Online (Stray Vacancy) Round.

Candidates who were allotted a seat in BAMS/BHMS courses in the Extended Fourth Online (Stray Vacancy) Round but did not pay the prescribed tuition fee of the college and did not submit their original certificates to the Admission Committee's Help Center (ie, their admission was not confirmed) will forfeit their refundable security deposit. These candidates will not be eligible to participate in the second Extended Fourth Online (Stray Vacancy) Round if held for BAMS/BHMS courses.

Candidates who were allotted a seat in the Extended Fourth Online (Stray Vacancy) Round and subsequently paid the prescribed tuition fee of college and submitted the original certificates at the Help Center, confirming their admission, will not be eligible to participate in the second Extended Fourth Online (Stray Vacancy) Round if conducted.

Only those candidates who are not allotted seats in the Extended Fourth Online (Stray Vacancy) Round will be considered eligible to participate in the second Extended Fourth Online (Stray Vacancy) Round for the remaining seats.

In the second extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round, the admission committee will not allow new registration or new choices. The online allotment will be done accordingly, taking into account only the choices filled by the candidate in the extended fourth online (stray vacancy) round.

Guidelines for Choice Filling

Online allotment of seats is done on the basis of merit cum choice in institutes permitted by concerned council.

Choice can be decided by candidate on following criteria

  • Course of choice
  • Institute/Place of choice
  • Government or Self-financed Institute
  • Tuition fees

Candidates are instructed to fill all the available choices irrespective of institute’s status (permitted /recognized) so that during the process of allotment if any institute get permission, you can get admission in that seat

Click on“ Login for Undergraduate Ayurvedic & Homoeopathy Admission” button. New window will appear on the computer screen. [“Login for Undergraduate Ayurvedic & Homoeopathy Admission ”

Click on “Candidate Registration/Login”. New window will appear on the computer screen.

Enter your USER ID (Sr No. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha & Click on Submit button. New window will appear on the computer screen.

Click on “CHOICE DETAILS”. 5 options will be displayed as below.

  • View Choice:
  • Available Choice: you can see all available choices
  • Click on “Available Choice” to start the process for choice filling. New window will appear on the computer screen.
  • CHOICE AVAILABLE: You can see all available choices. You can filter out the choice based on options are as under
  • Branch: AYURVEDA
  • Institute Type: GOV
  • Seat Type: GOVERNMENT SEAT (GQ) / MANAGEMENT SEAT (MQ) / NRI SEAT
  • Click on “Consent and Fill Choice” to start the process for choice filling. New window will appear on the computer screen.
