DME Gujarat Issues Instructions on Admission Cancellation For 3rd Online Mop-Up Round For PG Ayurveda, Homeopathy Courses
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) issued instructions for cancellation of admission for the candidates who have confirmed their admission up to 3rd online mop-up round for PG Ayurveda and PG Homeopathy courses.
As per the notice, the candidates, who have confirmed their admission up to 3rd online mop-up round of MD-MS (Ayurveda) and MD (Homeopathy) courses after paying fees at the designated branch of Axis bank & submitting the original documents at the help centre, and want to cancel the admission, can cancel their admission at help centre where the candidate has submitted original documents for admission confirmation. The cancellation can be made till 18.3.2023, starting from today (16.3.2023).
The candidates note that the cancellation can be made only at the same help centre where they have submitted original documents for admission confirmation.
Online allotment of seats was done based on merit cum choice. So it was merit cum choice-based allotment. The candidates were allowed to decide on a specific branch/Specific Institute/Place/Government or SFI/Choice based on fees. The admission was given on newly added seats (if any), non-reported seats of the 2nd round & cancelled seats after the 2nd round and subsequent vacant seats due to allotment on the above seats.
Recently the rank-wise results for the 3rd mop-up round of PG Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses were announced. The results included STUDENT NAME, MERIT NO, Cat Merit, MERIT MARKS, ADM Cat, Adm Seat Type, AIQ Rank, USER ID, Round, College, and Branch.
The medical education department is pivotal in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions and premier referral centres from peripheral hospitals. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental and paramedical colleges in the state.
