MD, MS Ayurveda at Dr NTR University of Health Sciences: Check out all admission details

Vijayawada: Through a written notice, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences has announced Admission into MD/MS (Ayurveda), Courses for the academic year 2021-22.

Online Application forms for admission into MD/MS (Ayurveda) courses for the academic year 2021-22 in the colleges affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada are invited from the eligible candidates.

The last date of application is today till 5 pm.

1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

a. MD/MS (Ayurveda): The PG Courses leading to Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda and Master of Surgery in Ayurveda are open to the holders of BAMS Degree of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and holders of Degree of any other University/Statutory body included in the 2nd schedule to the IMCC Act, 1970..

b. As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, the candidates who secured the below noted minimum marks or above in AIAPGET2021-22 are only eligible for admission into MD/MS (Ayurveda) course.

c. The candidate should have completed training as internee/House Officer on or before 31.12.2021.

d. For in-service candidates, extra weightage of marks on length and type of service will be awarded as on 31.01.2022.

  • Rural service - 8% per each year upto maximum of 3 years.
  • Tribal service - 10% per each year upto maximum of 3 years.

e. MERIT LIST:

a. The merit position of the candidates applied shall be determined basing on AIA-PGET-2021-22 Ranks and as per their eligibility.

b. There shall be a committee appointed by Dr. NTR UHS for selection of candidates against Competent Authority seats as per the merit list.

f. Candidates who were already admitted and studying MD/MS (Ayurveda) Course shall not be permitted for admission into MD/MS (Ayurveda) Course unless they discontinue the course by remitting the bond amount and the stipend taken upto that date before submitting application form and such candidates shall submit the discontinuance certificate issued by the Head of the Institution along with the application.

g. Candidates who are already holding a Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in a subject shall not be eligible to admission into MD/MS (Ayurveda) Course.

2. Application, Registration and Processing Fee:

a. For OC/BC Categories:- Rs. 5900/- (Rs.5000/-+Rs.900/- (Including GST@18%) plus Bank charges extra.

b. For SC/ST Categories:- Rs.4956/- (Rs.4200/-+Rs.756/- (Including GST@18%) plus Bank charges extra.

Note:- Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

3. Verification Fee:

The candidates who studied BAMS course outside the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana are required to pay an extra fee of Rs.3540/-(Rupees Three thousand five hundred and forty only) (Rs.3000/-+Rs.540/- (Including GST@18%) towards Degree Verification fee in addition to the above registration fee.

4. Procedure of filling online application form and payment of fee through online

a. The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

b. The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.

c. Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully regarding eligibility under local and non-local.

d. Visit website through Internet Explorer 11 version only to fill the application form.

e. The Registration number which will be sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic details, should be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidential and should not be disclosed to others.

f. Fill - in all the correct details in the online application form and upload all the documents including the certificates which are mandatory.

g. The following Certificates are required to complete the online application process. The original certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. Application fee has to be paid through online.

5. Instructions to the candidates:-

a. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course and instructions for filling Online Application available in the University Website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in before filling the online Application.

b. The process of admissions into MD/MS(Ayurveda) Courses will be in accordance with the Orders issued by Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Ms.No.13, HM&FW(F2) Dept., dt.05.02.2021 and on par with PG (Dental) selection procedure as per G.O. Ms. No.136, HM &FW(C1) Dept. dt.12-10-2021 and any other orders issued from time to time by University, Govt. of A.P. and CCIM, New Delhi.

c. Scrutiny of uploaded data will be conducted by the officials of the University and other officials from the concerned Departments. After scrutiny of scanned certificates, provisional merit list will be released and then after final merit list will be released.

d. Due to Covid-19 and Pandemic conditions, the certificates verification will be conducted basing on the uploaded scanned certificates. No separate notification will be given for verification of Original certificates. The candidates claiming reservation under PwD category are advised to watch the University website for further notifications.

e. Hence, the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory certificates without fail and verify once again before submission of online application.

f. The On-line application form with the following lacunae will be rejected automatically. No communication will be sent in this regard.

i. If any of the mandatory certificates are not uploaded.

ii. Applications with incomplete details / photo and signature.

iii. If any of the uploaded certificates are invisible/not properly uploaded.

iv. If the certificates are not properly scanned due to which the eligibility criteria cannot be determined.

g. The candidate should submit the Printout of the filled in Online application form, Provisional verification form and all Original certificates along with One set of self-attested Copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification. In case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment order will be cancelled without any notice. The candidates are informed not to send the print out of application form to the University.

h. Candidates admission is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the Merit position issued to him/her does not imply that his/her candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by him/her in the online application are accepted as true and correct. An in-eligible candidate obtaining Merit position does not make him/her eligible for admission.

i. If the information furnished by candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is Liable to be cancelled and further action that deems fit will be taken. If the certificates produced by any candidate are found to be fake/false/forged at any stage of verification or admission, the University has every right to cancel the seat / admission of such candidate without any notice. In case of discrepancy in the downloaded provisional verification form, the same shall be brought to the notice of the University immediately.

j. Candidates are informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the college of admission and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.

k. Area wise seat matrix will be displayed in the Website for the information of the students.

l. Subsequent notifications with regard to the counseling will be notified on the University website only. Visit the University website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in regularly for subsequent notifications/instructions till the completion of admission process.
