Tripura Plans to set up New Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Medical College soon
Tripura- Making a significant stride in the Ayurvedic sector, the Tripura Government has announced to set up a new Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Medical College in the state soon.
As per the North East Today's recent media news report, this announcement was recently made by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha during his impromptu visit to the main Ayurvedic hospital of the state. Along with this, Mr Saha also revealed that the government is also planning to relocate the state’s main Ayurvedic Hospital to a new location, which will be developed as a proposed Ayurvedic Medical College. The move is expected to provide a more conducive environment for both learning and treatment.
Apart from this, during CM’s visit to the state's main Ayurvedic hospital, Dr Saha closely reviewed all the facilities of the hospital and also interacted with both the staff and the patients. Besides, he also expressed his satisfaction with the services provided and highlighted the role of the hospital in meeting the health care needs of the public.
On this, speaking to the North East Today, Saha elaborated that “The premier Ayurvedic hospital of our state has become a beacon of hope for many. Its transition into a full-fledged medical college will not only elevate the standard of Ayurvedic education but also enhance the quality of patient care”.
CM stated “Our government is dedicated to making healthcare more accessible and people-oriented. The popularity of Ayurvedic treatments in Tripura is undeniable, and we are here to ensure that this ancient wisdom continues to serve our people alongside allopathy and homoeopathy”.
