CENTAC Invites Fresh Applications for NEET MDS 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Under Management Quota
Karnataka- Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) is inviting fresh online applications from candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 exam for admission to the vacant Management Quota seats in Government and Private Dental Institutions, Puducherry.
As per the notice in this regard, candidates can register for the NEET MDS 2024 stray vacancy round through dashboard login credentials on the official website of CENTAC. Interested candidates can submit their willingness along with course preference and payment of registration fee of Rs.50,000/- on or before 08 September 2024, 5.00 PM.
Candidates are requested to transfer the registration fee to the CENTAC account through Net Banking or generate NEFT/RTGS (preferably RTGS) challan using the payment link in their dashboard login credentials and proceed for payment.
Meanwhile, candidates who have already applied to CENTAC for PG NEET - MDS admission for government quota can now submit their willingness for management quota after paying the remaining application fee for admission to MDS - Management quota vacant seats. However, candidates who opt in now will be considered only after the current management quota merit list is out.
Therefore, both new and existing candidates can participate after paying their willingness, registration fee and filling in course preferences before 08 September 2024, 5.00 PM. However, if the course preference list is empty, the candidate will not be considered for allotment.
Also, the candidate is requested to submit a declaration, failing which the candidate will not be considered for seat allotment.
ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTERING STRAY VACANCY ROUND
1 All candidates except those who are admitted in Round 3 in All India Quota or State Quota (also appeared in Round 1 or Round 2) are eligible for stray rounds.
2 All candidates are eligible for the stray rounds except those who have been allotted a seat in Round 3 or any stray round in the All India quota and who have either joined or not joined.
REFUND/FORFEITURE OF FEES
1 In case a candidate is not allotted any seat during the stray round, the registration fee paid will be refunded to the candidate in the same account from which the payment was made.
2 Otherwise, if the seat is allotted and the candidate does not join the course, the registration fee will be forfeited and such candidate will be debarred from appearing in the NEET exam in the next year.
3 If a candidate is allotted a seat in the stray round and joins the allotted seat, the registration fee will be adjusted against the tuition fee.
4 Therefore, it is advised that candidates should take a considered decision before submitting course preference for the stray vacancy round.
Apart from this, CENTAC has also released the PG NEET Dental (M.D.S.) course seat matrix after Round 3. As per the seat matrix, a total of 7 seats are vacant across 6 Dental courses. Below are details of the seat matrix-
