CENTAC to Begin Online Applications Soon for PG Dental Admissions 2025, Know All Details Here

Puducherry- The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) is soon going to invite online applications for admission into the Postgraduate (PG) Dental Courses. In this regard, CENTAC has released an information brochure detailing the fees, eligibility criteria, documents, number of seats, etc.
As per the information brochure, the date of submission of the application, counselling dates, and merit list date will soon be published on the CENTAC official website. The entire counselling process, from submitting the application until admission, will be made through online mode only. A candidate can submit only one NEET PG Dental application.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF CANDIDATES
1 NATIONALITY CRITERIA
i A candidate seeking admission for Government Quota, Other State Quota, Management Quota and Self-supporting Quota through CENTAC should be an Indian National. However, French Nationals residing in the U.T. of Puducherry and covered by the terms of the Treaty of Cession shall be treated on par with Indian Nationals, for the purpose of admission to all the courses.
ii In terms of instructions of the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, Non-Resident Indians are entitled to all benefits available to Indian Nationals, subject to such notifications that would be issued by the Government from time to time.
2 RESIDENCE CRITERIA
i RESIDENTS OF THE UT OF PUDUCHERRY
a The candidate or whose parent (either Mother or Father or Both) or Guardian (in case of children who have lost both parents) has been residing continuously in the U.T. of Puducherry for at least five years preceding the date of application.
b Those who have passed the SSLC / HSC or any other public examination and for that purpose had undergone academic studies continuously for 5 successive classes immediately preceding the qualifying examination (including the year of qualifying examination) in a recognized educational institution located in the U.T. of Puducherry and having their residence in the U.T. Puducherry for 5 years continuously during that period. Merely staying in places such as a residential hostel would not amount to residence.
c Children of natives of the U.T. of Puducherry who have declared any place in the U.T. of Puducherry as their home town and so certified by their respective Heads of Office.
4 Children of Defence Personnel who were killed or disabled in action and children of Central Government Servants / U.T. of Puducherry Government Servants / Defence Personnel / Employees of Public Sector Undertakings wholly or substantially run either by the Central Government or by the U.T. of Puducherry Administration who died while in service in the U.T. of Puducherry.
ii OTHER STATES
"Other States" refers to students who are Indian Nationals and not Residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry.
DETAILS OF APPLICATION FEE
Payment of the Application Fee is mandatory. The Application Fee, once paid, is non-refundable. Applications without an application fee will be deemed to be incomplete and will be summarily rejected. The candidate will be able to give his / her course preference only after payment of the Application Fee.

REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEE / TUITION FEE
1 Refund will be initiated only after completion of the entire admissions process. The refund process may take approximately three months to complete.
2 Refund will be done to the same account of the candidate from which payment was made. The candidates should keep their bank accounts active until the refund process is completed. The candidates are advised NOT to use unrelated bank accounts for remitting the Registration Fee/ Tuition fee amount.
3 In case of refund, the payment will be refunded only to the NRO Account of the NRI / NRI Sponsor / OCI / OCI Sponsor / FN. No refund will be made directly to the NRE account of the NRI / NRI Sponsor / OCI / OCI Sponsor / FN. Hence, candidates should provide details of their NRO Account.
DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED
The candidate shall upload scanned copies of recently renewed self-attested documents obtained from the respective competent authorities (wherever necessary). Original certificates must be produced only at the time of admission to the respective colleges.
1 Passport size photograph of the applicant (20 KB to 50 KB).
2 Scanned signature of the applicant (20 KB to 50 KB).
3 Proof of Birth - Birth Certificate / 10th Std Marksheet / Higher Secondary Marksheet for verification of date of birth (100 KB to 500 KB).
4 UG Degree or Provisional Certificate or Course Completion Certificate (100 KB to 500 KB).
5 Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) Certificate (100 KB to 500 KB).
6 NEET MDS - 2025 Score Card (100 KB to 500 KB).
7 Transfer Certificate from the Institute last studied (100 KB to 500 KB).
8 Residence / Community (100 KB to 500 KB).
9 Freedom Fighter / Ex-Serviceman / Person with Disabilities, if applicable (100 KB to 500 KB).
10 Sports Certificates – To be submitted as self-attested xerox copies at designated centres in the respective regions. Information in this regard will be published on the CENTAC website.
11 EWS certificate (100 KB to 500 KB).
12 Valid Indian Passport of the Candidate / Parent.
13 Embassy Certificate of the Parent issued by the Indian Embassy of the country concerned under their Seal.
14 OCI card of the candidate.
15 Sponsor Relationship Certificate from the Parent who is related to the OCI Sponsor, duly attested
by Tahsildar.
MERIT LIST
1 The Merit List of the CENTAC applied candidates will be prepared based on the NEET – M.D.S.- 2025 Rank. The cut-off marks for the different categories fixed by the MCC / MoHFW will only be considered. The following Merit Lists will be published for allotment-
i Government Quota
ii Management Quota
iii Telugu Minority Management Quota
iv NRI Quota (which includes NRI / NRI sponsored / OCI / OCI sponsored / FN).
2 On verification of the candidate’s credentials, the First List, which is the Draft Merit List, will be published. This will be followed by a Second List, which is the Revised Draft Merit List and then the Last and Final List, which is the Final Merit List. Adequate time will be given to raise objections and submit documents, if any, between each publication of Merit Lists. Claims exercised with regard to Residence / Community / Special Category are subject to verification of the submitted documents and cannot be changed after the FINAL Merit List is published.
NUMBER OF SEATS IN PG DENTAL COURSES
1 The number of seats in various NEET PG DENTAL courses may vary depending on the approval of the concerned competent authorities of the Government of Puducherry.
2 The seat matrices will be published on the CENTAC website after receiving the same from the concerned departments of the Government of Puducherry.
