Delhi: The Dental Council India, has recently released a direction for all dental colleges of the country that offer post-graduate programs and have admitted foreign nationals to the same.
The letter, dated 5th November 2021, was addressed to all the dental colleges running MDS Courses/PG Diploma Courses in India, for the academic session 2021-22.
The Dental Council of India, which is the statutory body for all decisions concerning dental education in the country, had directed all dental colleges to upload the details of students admitted by them immediately after their respective rounds of counselling are over on or before Wednesday, 10th November 2021.
According to the letter, the DCI has observed and acknowledged that certain colleges may encounter hindrances in uploading the online details, on the DCI website, after admissions of a foreign student in the absence of registration with respective State Dental Council.
As a solution to this issue, the DCI has directed these colleges to submit the admission details of such students via email at secy-dci@nic.in on or before November 10th, 2021.
