NBEMS Declares FDST Results For MDS degree, PG Diploma 2023, Details
New Delhi- Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the result of the Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) for the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree and Postgraduate (PG) Diploma for the 2023 session.
The Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) 2023 for MDS degree and PG Diploma was conducted by NBEMS on 16th March 2024 on a computer-based platform in New Delhi.
The result contains the roll number, speciality and paper I and II scores (out of 100 and 150) of the candidates. As per the result, a total of 10 MDS and PG candidates appeared for FDST out of which scores of 4 candidates from each paper are mentioned and 2 are marked as absent from each paper I & II.

Although the result has been declared after each question in FDST 2023 - MDS/PG Diploma was reviewed by the subject matter experts from the concerned speciality after the conduct of FDST 2023 - MDS/PG Diploma to re-check for technical correctness of the questions as well as answer keys. However, the official notice from NBE in this regard states that eight questions were found to be technically incorrect in the Question Paper of FDST 2023 - MDS/PG Diploma, but full marks have been awarded to all the candidates who appeared in the exam, irrespective of the fact whether these questions have been attempted or not attempted by the candidates.
The notice stated, “As per the Dental Council of India Screening Test Regulations 2009 (amended up to September 2018), a candidate must obtain 50% marks in each paper individually to qualify to appear in the viva-voce examination. Meanwhile, to pass the screening test the candidate has to score 50% marks in the viva-voce examination separately.
