New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an advisory for the BDS candidates. The MCC had earlier released the revised tentative schedule for stray vacancy round.

As per Schedule of UG Counselling 2020 the Stray Vacancy Round for BDS seats is being conducted from 28.01.2021 to 30.01.2021. In this context, candidates are advised to take note of the following points:

1. The Stray Vacancy Round (2) for 01 vacant seat at ESIC Dental College, Rohini (I.P University) will be conducted at the institute i.e ESIC Dental College, Rohini. For more information candidates can contact the college directly on 011-27553099 and stay in touch with the college website.

2. The Stray Vacancy Round (2) for 02 vacant seats at ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga for Wards of Insured Persons (I.P Quota) will be conducted at the college. Please take note of the instructions issued by ESIC in the notice below. The list of eligible candidates for Wards of Insured Persons seats has been uploaded on MCC website

3. The Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted in an Offline mode. There will be no New Registration or Choice Filling in this round. Eligible Candidates have to report directly at the institutes keeping in view the list of vacant seats uploaded on MCC website. The admission will be made strictly in terms of merit.

All the concerned candidates who are seeking admission to 'Wards of Insured persons' (IPS) in UG Course (BDS) in ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, Karnataka, under 'Insured Persons ( IPS) Quota' for Academic Session 2020-21, the vacant BDS seats at ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, Karnataka, are as under:

The list of eligible candidates would be uploaded shortly by MCC on their website. It is reiterated that counseling for stray vacancy of BDS seats would be conducted from amongst list of Candidates notified by MCC of DGHS, GoI. Only those Candidates whose name will be present in the merit list of Candidates provided by MCC shall be eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round – 2 for allotment of BDS seat at ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, Karnataka.

The revised tentative schedule for counseling is as under:

a. Date & time of students reporting at Designated Center for counseling.

28th January 2021 (Thursday ), at 2 pm to 3 pm

b. Counseling & allocation of college through video-conferencing by HQ Office with designated ESIC Medical Colleges

28th January 2021 (Thursday ), at 4 pm

c. Display Of Result


Allotment Letter would be issued to the candidate by the Office of the Dean of the Nodal Centre where the

candidate has attended the counseling.

28th January 2021 (Thursday )

d. Completion of admission process at ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, Karnataka

Positively by 30th January 2021 (Saturday) failing which the allotment would be deemed cancelled.

4. Candidates are requested to check the ESIC and DGHS [MCC] web-site regularly for further details

5. Mechanism for filling up of 'Insured Persons Quota' seats:
5.1 The 'guiding principles' for filling up of 'Insured Persons Quota' will be as under:-
5.1.1 The 'Insured Persons Quota' seats will be filled on merit cum preference basis.
5.1.2 The counseling would be done as from amongst, list of Candidates forwarded by MCC of DGHS, GoI. Only those Candidates whose name will be present in the merit list of Candidates provided by MCC shall be eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.
5.1.3 Candidates seeking admission under 'Insured Persons Quota' during the Stray Vacancy (off-line) counseling must carry (i) valid "Ward of Insured Person" Certificate, issued by the designated Authority, i.e. concerned Regional Director/SRO I/C; (ii) NEET Admit Card; (iii) NEET Score Card; and (iv) 02 passport size photographs, when reporting to the designated centre to attend the counseling.
5.1.4 Methodology for filling up of Insured Persons (IPs) Quota (2020-21)
a) Candidates will have to report for counseling at any one of the six designated Centers (below), as per convenience, on 28th January, 2021 (Thursday) from 12 noon to 1 pm. The designated centers are as under:
 ESIC Medical College, Faridabad (Haryana)
 ESIC Medical College, Joka, Kolkata (WB)
 ESIC Medical College, KK Nagar, Chennai (TN)
 ESIC Medical College, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad (Telangana)
 ESIC Medical College, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru (Karnataka)
 ESIC Medical College, Gulbarga (Karnataka)
b) The Dean / Dean I/c of the concerned designated centre would issue the Allotment letter
c) The candidate has to complete the admission process at ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, Karnataka, positively by 30th January, 2021 [Saturday] (as per schedule notified by DGHS, GoI), failing which the allotment would be deemed cancelled.
d) Candidates must carry listed documents in original along with self-attested copies for verification at the time of reporting for completing the admission process at ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, Karnataka, as under:
(i) 04 passport size photographs 3
(ii) Valid "Ward of Insured Person" Certificate, issued by the designated Authority, i.e. concerned Regional Director/SRO I/C.
(iii) Secondary School Certificate which must bear Date of Birth or Birth Certificate.
(iv) Senior Secondary School certificate (+2). Provisional if final has not been issued.
(v) Admit card for in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-2020 [NEET (UG) - 2020]
(vi) Score card [NEET - 2020] with Rank Position i.e. All India Rank
(vii) Copy of SC/ST/OBC/PH Certificate from the 'Appropriate Authority' as specified in the NEET Brochure
(viii) Copy of EWS Certificate from the 'Appropriate Authority'
(ix) For FEMALE CANDIDATES ONLY

5.1.5 For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule (as notified by DGHS, GoI) and in view the limited time available for conducting counseling, ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, Karnataka, is directed to treat Saturday (30.01.21) as full working day for completing the admission process, if required.
5.1.6 Candidates are requested to check the ESIC (www.esic.nic.in) and DGHS (www.mcc.nic.in) web-site regularly for further details.
