DNB Counselling 2020 Round 2: NBE extends date for Payment of 1st Year Course Fee
New Delhi: Thorugh a recent notification, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has notified about the Extension of date for Payment of First-Year Course Fee in respect of the 2nd Round of DNB Counselling (Post MBBS and Post Diploma).
The last date for Payment of First-Year Course Fee in respect of the 2 nd Round of DNB Counselling (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) has been extended from 5th July to 10th July 2020.
There is no change in the last date for E-Joining and Physical joining.

The NBE had earlier released the result of 2nd Round allotment of DNB seats (Post MBBS and Post Diploma including Direct 6 years courses) for admission to 2020 Session.
Below attached are the list of candidates who have reported and joined the seats allotted to them in the 2nd ROUND of counselling conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (All India 50% Quota+ Deemed+Central Universities)
Allotment Details of DNB Post MBBS Counseling(2020 Admission Session) (Round-2)
The NBE further referred to the following points explaining about the allotment procedure.
As per the Question Number 63 of FAQs issued by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) for All India 50% quota counselling seats:
"If a candidate has been allotted a seat in Round-2 but not reported at the allotted Institute, he/she can exit with Forfeiture of Fees i.e. the Refundable Security Deposit will be forfeited. However, once the candidate joins a seat allotted in 2nd Round (of AIQ/ Deemed University) he/she will not be eligible for exiting the seat and not eligible for any other round of Counseling including State and DNB Counseling. The names of such candidates who have joined in Round-2 of AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities will be circulated to all state counselling authorities for prohibiting them to participate in any other counselling.
The above rule is due to the direction of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Dar-UsSlam case"
As per Clause 4.7 of the Handbook for admission to DNB Broad speciality courses 2020 admission session:
" that once a candidate joins a seat allotted to him/her through 2nd ROUND of counselling in the NEET 50% AIQ /Deemed/Central universities/AFMS (MD/MS/Diploma) seats 2020 by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Government of India or State Counseling through respective State Government, he/she shall not be eligible to participate in any rounds of counselling for the DNB (Post MBBS) 2020 Admission Session".
