FMG Internship counselling: DME Chhattisgarh notifies on round 2 scrutiny, joining dates, provisional allotment list
Chhattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh, has released the second roud allotment list of seats in institutions to eligible candidates based on their merit and institution selection under the Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG)) Internship Counselling for the November Batch of 2025.
Following this, the scrutiny and joining process will be conducted.
On this, DME Chattisgarh has released the scrutiny and joining process schedule through a notice. Therefore, as per the schedule, the process will commence from today, i.e. 08 January 2026 and will end on 14 January 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-

According to the notice, the concerned candidate should take a printout of the Allotment Letter from his/her login portal and appear at the allotted institute by the above mentioned date with the required original documents and their self-attested copies, get the documents verified and join the institute.
In case of non-reporting on the scheduled date and time, the allotment of the concerned candidate will be automatically considered cancelled.
In addition, all the concerned medical colleges are directed to verify the following documents of the allotted candidates-
1 Class 10th mark sheet.
2 Class 12th mark sheet.
3 Eligibility Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (NMC) (if applicable).
4 All mark sheets of the MBBS course.
5 FMGE passing certificate/Screening Test certificate.
6 Chhattisgarh Residence Certificate (if applicable).
7 Original affidavit (as per prescribed format).
8 Approve joining for internship only after verifying the required certificates and eligibility criteria.

Meanwhile, DME Chhattisgarh had released an official notice inviting online applications and choice filling for the second round of State Quota counselling for MD and MS admissions 2025. The notification applies to admissions against vacant seats left after Round 1 allotment in government and private medical colleges across the state. As per the notice issued by the Office of the Commissioner, Medical Education, eligible candidates are required to complete fresh online application and institute choice filling for Round 2 counselling through the official portals of DME Chhattisgarh. According to the schedule, the online application window opens from today i.e. 1 January 2026, 11:00 AM to 3 January 2026, 11:59 PM.
