JIPMER to hold Workshop on Self Care and Communication Skills for Doctors on July 29th, Check out all details
Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) has announced conduction of a workshop on Self Care & Communication Skills for doctors on 29th July 2022. The doctors who have been in service for 8-15 years can participate.
As per the notice, the workshop is divided into 2 sessions, each comprising 12 participants. The 1st session is scheduled for 9.30 am to 12:30 pm, and the 2nd session is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The maximum participant can be 24 only. The seat will be offered on a 1st come, 1st basis.
The workshop's main purpose is to introduce essential skills in self-care such as self-compassion, lovingkindness, self-forgiveness, and intentional living. The workshop will use an interactive and playful style to help participants reflect on where they are at (in their career and personal life), explore methods to reframe their thoughts to feel more empowered, and learn simple techniques to live more consciously.
The resource faculty for the workshop is DR Mahati Chittem. She is an associate professor of health and medical psychology at the department of liberal arts at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India. Her areas of expertise are in chronic disease management and health behaviors.
The participants will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 online. They can go to SBI collect website using the link to pay the fee.

2. Type of Corporation/Institution – Educational.
3. Educational Institute Name – JIPMER Pondicherry.
4. Select Payment Company – Department of Medical Education Fee Collection.
5. Fill out the form without any special character.
6. Fill 'Nil' in the Selection number field.
7. Select the name of the course as Training course for SR.
8. Fill the remarks field below: Workshop on Communication Skills and Self-care.
