KEA issues notice for MBBS, BDS candidates allotted seats via AIQ counselling, Details
Bengaluru: Through a recent notice, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued important information for candidates who have been allotted MBBS, BDS seats during AIQ NEET Counselling 2020.
In its notice, the KEA has clearly stated:
Candidates who got admission in Round-1 & Round-2 of UG Counselling 2020 and are admitted in the respective colleges: Candidates who have Joined the seats allotted to them in All India Quota Colleges/ Deemed/ Central Universities in Round-1 & Round-2 of UG Counselling 2020 will not be considered for second round and further rounds of seat allotment in state counseling through KEA for the year 2020.
Further Medical / Dental seats held by such candidates in KEA UGNEET-2020 will be cancelled and will be offered in the second round seat allotment, the KEA warned

Post allotment procedure for Round 2 candidates:
Implication:
1. There will be no Choice to exercise to the candidates.
2. Candidates who gets allotted / confirmed a seat in any discipline (Medical or Dental) are required to pay the prescribed fees (if not paid) and should compulsorily report to the colleges on or before the last date mentioned in the admission order and should update the details through their log-In-Id to KEA or they lose their allotted seats.
3. If any candidate fails to report to the college after allotment of seats in the Second Round, legal action will be initiated against such candidate in accordance with law.

*Deposition of documents:
1.Candidates, who have been allotted Government seats in Private Medical or Dental colleges and Private seat in Private Medical or Dental colleges should deposit all the original documents at KEA, Bangalore with one set of attested photocopies as per their eligibility. (Verification Acknowledgement slip, Annexure-1 and Annexure -9 (Rural Service Bond) given in UGNEET-2020 Information Bulletin should also be submitted.)

2. Candidates, who have been allotted seats in Government Medical or Government Dental Colleges should submit all the original documents with one set of attested photocopies as per their eligibility at the time of admission at the respective colleges. (Verification Acknowledgement slip, Annexure-1 and Annexure -9 (Rural Service Bond) given in UGNEET-2020 Information Bulletin should also be submitted.) (ESIC Bond hosted on KEA Website).

3. Candidates who have been allotted NRI / Others seats in private Medical or Dental Colleges should submit all the original documents as per their eligibility with one set of attested photocopies at the time of admission at the respective colleges. (Verification Acknowledgement slip, Annexure-1 given in UGNEET-2020 Information Bulletin should also be submitted.)

During Deposition of documents, candidates should compulsorily wear mask and carry hand sanitizer with them. Only the candidates are allowed inside the KEA premises for deposition of original documents. Candidates and parents should maintain social distance and should follow the SOP notified by the Health Department / Government.
