Masters of Public Health course at PGI Chandigarh: Apply by May 6
Chandigarh - Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has invited applications for admission to the Master of Public Health (MPH) Programme offered at the Institute for 2020 session.
Eligibility: Applicant must possess MBBS/BDS/B.V.Sc/BE/MA/M.Sc on or before 30th June 2020 with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate from a University/ Institute recognized by the Medical /Dental/Veterinary council of India/ the Institution of Engineers (India) and UGC/AICTE.
Applicant must have either completed or should be due to complete, respective rotatory internship training on or before 30th June, 2020, if applicable and must be registered with Central /State Medical/Dental/Veterinary Registration Council (if applicable)
Entrance Test: Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) carrying a maximum of 80 marks to be held on 7 June 2020 (Sunday) from 9 am to 10.30 am. The CBT will have the objective types of questions from (i) Intellectual and Reasoning Skill (ii) Comprehensions (iii) Data interpretation skills and (iv) General Knowledge and awareness each having 20 marks.
There will be negative marking to the tune of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the theory paper.
Open (General) and Sponsored / Deputed candidates have to score 50% marks and SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates, 45% marks to qualify in the entrance test.
Application: Application can be submitted at the link provided in the Notification available at 'Information for Candidates' link at www.pgimer.edu.in latest by 6th May 2020.
Application Fee for SC/ST Category is Rs. 1200/- and for General /OBC /Sponsored Category, Rs. 1500/- to be paid through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking. Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities (PwBD) applicants are exempted from payment of fee.
Results are expected to be declared by 15 June 2020.
Counseling for Master in Public Health course at PGI, Chandigarh will be on 20 June 2020.
