155 seats available for Round 2 NEET PG Counselling: Check out details released by CENTAC
Puducherry: Through a recent notice Government of Puducherry Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released details regarding the vacant seats after round 1, an extension of time for submission of course preference, round 1 admitted list, and round 2 process for NEET PG Counselling.
Total 155 seats are there for MD/MS across 4 different colleges after round 1.
A detailed list of colleges -
1. Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (IGMC&RI)
2. Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PMS)
3. Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMC&H)
4. Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SVMCH&RC)
CENTAC has notified that the submission of course preferences for PG Medical courses is extended to 16th February 2022 till 11:00 am. Candidates need to visit https://www.centacpuducherry.in/ for more details.
A detailed allotment list has been shared for round 1 PG medical. Total 33 candidates are there on the list.
The registration fee for round 2 has been released. According to the recent notice, the registration fee for Government Quota Rs.25000 (Rs. 12,500 for SC /ST /OBC /EBC /MBC / BCM/BT), Management Quota Rs.2,00,000, and UT of Puducherry Candidates who opt for both Government Quota and Management Quota seats can pay Rs.2,00,000.
Candidates should note that they will only be allowed to fill the course preferences by paying the fee mentioned above. However, candidates who have already been admitted through round 1 counseling can participate in round 2 without payment of the registration fee. All the candidates who are not allotted seats will get the fee back. Only the candidates who are allotted seats the fee will be retained. The same will be forfeited for the candidates who do not join after getting the seats allotted during round 2.
Once the Telugu and Christian Minorities Management Quota Seats, the remaining unfilled seats will be converted into Management Quota and filled. Course preference for Government and Management Quota needs to be filled fresh. All students who are registered with CENTAC and all the candidates allotted during round 1 (Joined /not Joined) are eligible for round 2 counseling.
